This stretch of coast between the towns of Vietri to Positano is distinguished for the extraordinary scenery, which has enchanted travelers from every corner of the earth. The deep green terraces suspended above a sparkling sea, art and architecture have made this area one of the most charming tourist destinations in the world. The scenery is characterized by steep cliffs leading down to a sea, rich with bays and coves.
Human activity has been able to integrate perfectly through patient work, to create small pockets of land from the cliff faces, upon which man could build his refuge from the elements or cultivate crops. Among the vertiginous cliffs, overhanging the coast, small villages are set like jewels in a crown.
